SHR is $1000's of dollars less expensive than traditional laser hair removal, you need less sessions and treatment is warm and comfortable with no pain. Super Hair Removal (SHR) uses low energy light via rapid pulses to safely traumatize the stem cells and bulb of unwanted hair, helping prevent regrowth, without damaging the skin. Compared to other hair removal treatments that use Laser and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), Super Hair Removal (SHR) is much faster, gentler and more effective.
Super Hair Removal (SHR) is suitable for both men and women and can be performed on all skin types. Furthermore, it’s suitable for use on nearly all areas of the face and body!
Is it painful?
NO! Unlike traditional hair removal treatments, like Laser and IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) which tend to be painful, Super Hair Removal (SHR) is much gentler! The light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle. The bulb has the most concentrated melanin so when the the light is converted into heat, it creates a protein denaturation, which basically starves the hair from nutrient absorption so it will not grow again.
Super Hair Removal (SHR) is suitable for body and face and
can be performed on all skin types and is especially superior for sensitive skin.. It does NOT hurt, and
actually feels like a warm, comfortable massage!
How many sessions will I need?
That is a tough question because everyone is different! Depending on the coarseness and amount of hair, typically you need 4-8 sessions. The sessions are booked 3-4 weeks apart. For best results, you must only shave in between sessions and shave the day of each treatment. SHR is safe for all skin tones, however, we do not recommend SHR on sunburnt or freshly tanned skin. You will notice less and softer hair quickly!
We offer packages of 3 at a savings of 10% and packages of 6 are 15% off!
Please shave areas of treatment same day as your appointment.
I charge a fee for shaving and/or may not be able to accommodate your scheduled time if you are not shaven.
